Intrinsic Wild

Who…or what… do we have here?

This is an online space that has been quietly curated since 2009—it’s been left ‘offline’ at times even when my writing continued—what began as a blog has grown into a digital journal, a collection of travel diaries, scattered thoughts, and photographs I’ve taken along the way.

It’s a soft landing place, a kind of scrapbook where I’ve typed away at my heart’s desire over the years, without needing to define or justify it.

I have some gentle ideas for how it could still take shape—this brand, this notion. Maybe a podcast, maybe a visual diary, or something else entirely.

But for now, it’s just this: a quiet corner of the internet I’m lucky to call my own.

If you’re here and reading this, thank you for visiting—and wherever you are in your life, I hope you continue to embrace your own intrinsic wild.

With love, always,

A

The Latest

Currently Reading: “The Way It Is” by William Stafford — plainspoken, clear as water, yet carrying an undercurrent that pulls you deeper.

Upcoming Travel(s): Sand swirling at my ankles, hieroglyphs murmuring from ancient walls — somewhere where the Nile drifts slow and the sun sets behind temple ruins.

In The Mood For: Thick wool blankets, salt-spray air, and a steaming bowl of something briny — fish stew by the sea, eaten with cold fingers warmed on the bowl.

Listening To: Dianna Lopez’s “Crossing the Threshold” — dreamlike, shadow-soft — and Hania Rani’s “Esja” — delicate keys echoing like footsteps in snow.

Miscellaneous Delights: Neighbourhood dog walks, practicing my handpan, piping hot bubble baths, and rewatching Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” — always a balm for the winter blues.
